Cecilia and Colossus were just introduced and then forgotten, since Kitty was watching him, no one else had to. I'm sure Cecilia would have come back often to check on him, she's the Doc.

Hooray for K&K!! Although it might be a little cliche...a priest giving that all up to get some sweet sweet lovin' from a (realtively) young girl. HA! I love it!

Well I'm back, and all I have to say is 'WOW" guys, this is amazing. So many different writers, so many differing angles and soooo much talent. I just can't help wondering where this is going to go next!!!

What, you want me to write some thing? Oh, go on then.....

He'd been dropping in and out of consciences for over an hour now. Every time his senses return to him he learned a little more. The rooms scent was unfamiliar, mainly metallic. The people that occupy it however wreak of the same stenches that have terrorised his past for longer than he cares to remember. Longer than he can remember.

His arms are locked in place by huge manacles that prevent him from using his claws. He tries to bust his way through, should be easy for a guy who's entire skeleton is laced with pure adamantium. But somehow he cannot find the strength within himself to do it. This would have been easy a few months back, he would just break his wrists and be free, but thanks to Apocalypse that option is not open to him now.

Someone is close to him. Smells mainly of dried sweat and bad pizza. Must be the Blob.

"Hey I think the runts coming round"

"Ah time for round two, step aside lardy let me rip his guts out" This one?s scent is unmistakable. Wet animal hair and death. Sabertooth. ?Anyway I thought your venom was supposed to knock him out for like a week?"

"Don't worry he won't be any danger for quite a while yet. He can hear us, probably smell us but his motor functions and sight won?t be back ?till Christmas" Hmmm, a mix of pond weed and sewage, the Toad. "I thought we were supposed to tell Mystique if he even breathed irregularly?"

?Don't be such a kiss ass, I've dealt with this pest before. He doesn't scare me"

"But I do" The sweet smell of perfume, a woman's smell, so she's still here "Now if you don't want to end up like my son I suggest you shut you mouth now Creed"

"Whatever" Sabertooth mutters, if he could he would smile at this.

?Now all of you get out of here"

'But-"

"Don't make me ask twice" One by one each of them leaves the room, amidst a chorus of moans and grumbles like little boys. "I know you can hear me Logan. It's been so long since you and me have been alone like this. Oh, I forgot, you didn't know it was me did you?

"Well now you know, for sure, it?s true Kurt is unfortunately our son. Oh, sorry, was our son. Whoopsy, had a bit of an accident there. Bamf no more" She laughs at her own joke like only an ego maniac like herself could. "You see Kurt didn't turn out quite like I wanted him to. It's a tricky business you see, but now I have the technology to get what I want."

"I?ll be the first to admit it, I was foolish. I figured by having a child with the infamous Weapon X I could make the ultimate weapon, the best assassin in the world ever. But genes are not so easy to predict. So instead, what do I get? A snivelling little Xavierphile like Kurt Wagner. But you see, I don't like leaving loose ends so now that I have cleared that little mistake I can start all over again.

"And that is where you come in. Thanks to a few bits of equipment that I have 'borrowed' from the High Evolutionary I can now splice DNA into any form I want. Yes Logan, my dearest, I can make endless supplies of full grown assailants from your and my exquisite DNA. And not even you or my meddling son can do anything about it"

The serum that the Toad injected into Wolverine would have kept twelve full grown rhino's paralysed for a month. But Wolverine is the best at what he does, and what he does best is heal. Using all the gusto he can muster he just manages to utter the following in reply:

"I - think - you've - under - estimat - ed - our - son."

Cheers Drags. I was a little worried that you wouldn't like the fact that NC wasn't in this segament. But if you read the story as a whole it makes a nice interlude. Also the whole 'ultimate warrior' thing is a little bit of a (okay a lot of a) cliche. But we will have to see what the next writer comes up with ... won't we?

Okay, I am going to try to live up to what you have done so far, but that's going to be real tough. So I'll try.........

Cut to the Mansion:

It didn't take Wolverines hypersenses to smell the chemicals in Beast's lab. From the smell she could tell Beast was working. He was probably working on a cure for the Legacy Virus, and she new she was being selfish but she had to help Nightcrawler.

"Hank............Hank...........Hank", screamed Kitty.

"oh sorry Kitty I was working on.....what's with the long face?"

"It's Mystique......she's dying and...I need your help.

"I'll help any way I can."

(They enter the area Kurt is in)

"What's wrong", exclaimes Beast," she looks fine too me."

"Sorry about this Hank, but I can't take any chances." ( she knocks him out by phasing through him).

(when beast woke up soon after, he finds himself chained up.)(kitty stands over him)
"Sorry Hank ,but this is a precautionary." "I am going to ask you a question the Dark Beast wouldn't know because this mission was never recorded in Cerebro and never talked about. If you remember this the X-men went on a mission sometime after the graduation. Jean told me about this. Apparently you and the others went to find a new mutant ,and it turned out he had some kind of scam going claiming he was a mutant as a kind of publicity stunt. Anyway what was that man's supposed mutant power?"

"Oh of course ,I remember that. It was kind of funny, some one who actually wanted to be a mutant. That's why that stands out so vividly in my mind.Funny though it never got recorded into cerebro because of Professor X's leave of absence ,and because we were sidetracked with other missions. He supposedly had the power to heal the sick. He was a fraud though ,and as it turned out a swindler and a con man.People believed he was a mutant and could really heal them though."

"Okay Beast you've convinced me , that mission seemed so obsolete for the X-men the Dark Beast would never know it.NOt including the fact that it was never recorded)

(After unchaining the Beast Kitty spills the beans, and every thing she new about Kurt being Mystique ,and the big mess He was in)
"So we need your help to change him back," She finished exasperatedly.

"Kitty, forgive me but I find this quite hard to believe. Are you saying that Nightcrawler is Mystique and Mystique is Nightcrawler."

" Exactly," Kitty exclaimed.

"Well I guess it couldn't hurt to check it out ,but if that woman is trying to pull a fast one so help me I'll

"Hank , calm down , we're all mad about what happened to Moria, but it's Kurt I swear."

"Hank, praise God, please hank you must help me.It's me Nightcrawler."

" Please Hank, just run some test's," said Kitty.

( Hank runs tests on Nightcrawlers/Mystiques body Poking and prodding, testing ,and taking numerous blood samples)

"Oh my stars, it is Nightcrawler in that nefarious witches likeness. The DNA matches Nightcrawlers perfectly, but how will I reverse the process? It's going to take time."

" Time we don't have, look on the monitor the Blackbird is entering the Hangar Bay."

"We'll have to do something because here comes Collosus carring what looks to be a badly beaten Nightcrawler", said Kitty.

"I can fake a recorded death scene on the computer , Kitty you get Kurt out of here and hide him. I'll continue to work out a process to reverse Mystiques serum. Quickly girl, go."

I have been gone for a while, and when I come back, what do I find but a FANTASTIC piece of fan-fic! Great job to EVERYONE, and I eagerly await the next installment.

Yeah...I'm worried that I might have killed it, with the Kitty and Kurt thing I mean. Just ignore the romantic set up and go on with the show guys. I may just lay low for a while. I wrote a chunk involving Logan but it would have to go between Mit's and the newest one. Should I post it or just lay off for a while?

HHmmmm... no ones added anything for a bit..I sorta have something in mind everyone but it's kinda action-heavy.
